What it was about (in > 50 words)
Identical septuplets (7 sisters, named Monday - Sunday) in a future where only 1 child is allowed to live, share a single identity - Karen Settman (Noomi Rapace).
With the help of their grandfather Terrence (Willem Dafoe), they develop a system to avoid detection. It all seemed to work until Monday went missing.
Anything
special/memorable?
This is another winner from Netflix (yup, the same upstarts who keep churning out great stuff like Dirk Gently, Stranger Things, etc.). Kudos.
As a Sci-Fi Geek (ie: I watch & read LOTS of Sci-Fi), I have
to say that this is 1 of the most original and refreshing Sci-Fis movies I have
ever come across.
Noomi Rapace has never been one of my favorite actresses but I
have to admit that she is a top-notch actress. It takes some serious acting
skills to play 7 different roles in a single movie. Not many can pull that off
(perhaps only James McAvoy comes to mind from his outstanding role in Split)
Waste/worth the time?
Sure, a
dystopian future where food, our most precious resource is running short due to
overpopulation is nothing new but I really enjoyed the movie for seeing on screen
the fresh new concept of 7 people developing various creative and perhaps even
tiresome mechanisms to enable them to live what was essentially the life of a single
woman.

The pacing and acting also kept me at the edge of my seat. It had enough
mystery, suspense and action to make a worthwhile watch even for non-Sci-Fi
geeks.
I will definitely watch it again. It won't be anytime soon but I will.
