My Artwork

Here are a few of the pieces that I had done since my last post.

This is the ORIGINAL Captain Marvel - a Kree Warrior, but not many people may know this. This may be due to the fact that he died in Marvel’s 1st Graphic Novel, way back in 1982.
The Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) that most people know today was called Ms. Marvel at that time.

He (along with Adam Warlock) was also among the first to stand against the threat of Thanos.

Para Demons are the foot soldiers of Apokolips. Meaning, if you see Para Demons, you’ll very likely see DC’s Big Bad - Darkseid, as well. (If you watch Justice League, either version, you would have seen lots of them)

I was lucky enough to own the reprints of the Deadman comics by the legendary Neal Adams back in the '80s. He’d been among my favorite DC characters ever since.

Long before I fell in love with Marvel and DC comics, I was already a big fan of the Kamen/Masked Riders (along with Ultraman of course). This is Rider #6 or Amazon Rider. One of my favorites among the 1st 7 Riders.

These are 2 of my own creations. I created them when I was in high school.
The golden character is a cosmic being while the hooded one is an adept of the arcane arts.

Before New Warriors, Runaways, NYX, Young Justice, Champions (latest incarnation) and the like, Cloak & Dagger (who made their 1st appearance in a Spider-Man title back in the ‘80s) set the template for troubled teen heroes.
Checkmate was one of my favorite DC titles in the late ‘80s.
It had a strong start and I was really looking forward to it becoming a great DC title.
I’m glad to hear that DC is bringing this DC title back later this year!

Comic Review - Astonishingly Fabulous Rides (DC Heroes)

In this post, I'll continue to showcase some of the DC Individual Heroes' incredibly amazing rides.

Justice League Members (Excluding Batman, because he's got so many toys)
Aquaman's Giant Atlantean Sea-Horse
Wonder Woman's Invisible Plane
Blue Beetle's Bug
Night Owl's Owl Ship
The Watchmen's very own Batman and his toy.
 Adam Strange's Jet Pack
We now move on to the New Gods (introduced by Jack Kirby)
Orion and his flying harness
Darkseid's son and sworn enemy, a major character of the New Gods.
My favorite story with Orion in it is one of the most loved DC Stories of all time - the Great Darkness Saga. A MUST READ!

Metron and his Mobius Chair
Metron is a New God. He's the DC Universe's Cosmic Explorer & Scholar, collecting knowledge across the DCU. Comic fans would only see him when there's something BIG happening in the DCU.
Black Racer's Skis
Often compared to Marvel's Silver Surfer, he's the Valkyrie to the New Gods, their Grim Reaper.

Definitely not someone you wanna see, even if he's on your side.

Lobo's Space Bike
Shining Knight's Horse - Victory
Shining Knight is rarely seen these days. The most recent appearance that I am aware of was the Seven Soldiers of Victory by Grant Morrison in 2008.

Now, on to the Bat-Family
Huntress' Bike
Nightwing's Bike
Robin's Bike
And last, but by no means, least - Batman and some of his wonderful toy vehicles.
