My Artwork

Here are a few of the pieces that I had done since my last post.

This is the ORIGINAL Captain Marvel - a Kree Warrior, but not many people may know this. This may be due to the fact that he died in Marvel’s 1st Graphic Novel, way back in 1982.
The Captain Marvel (Carol Danvers) that most people know today was called Ms. Marvel at that time.

He (along with Adam Warlock) was also among the first to stand against the threat of Thanos.

Para Demons are the foot soldiers of Apokolips. Meaning, if you see Para Demons, you’ll very likely see DC’s Big Bad - Darkseid, as well. (If you watch Justice League, either version, you would have seen lots of them)

I was lucky enough to own the reprints of the Deadman comics by the legendary Neal Adams back in the '80s. He’d been among my favorite DC characters ever since.

Long before I fell in love with Marvel and DC comics, I was already a big fan of the Kamen/Masked Riders (along with Ultraman of course). This is Rider #6 or Amazon Rider. One of my favorites among the 1st 7 Riders.

These are 2 of my own creations. I created them when I was in high school.
The golden character is a cosmic being while the hooded one is an adept of the arcane arts.

Before New Warriors, Runaways, NYX, Young Justice, Champions (latest incarnation) and the like, Cloak & Dagger (who made their 1st appearance in a Spider-Man title back in the ‘80s) set the template for troubled teen heroes.
Checkmate was one of my favorite DC titles in the late ‘80s.
It had a strong start and I was really looking forward to it becoming a great DC title.
I’m glad to hear that DC is bringing this DC title back later this year!
